Pembroke H. Emanuelson represents New Jersey employees in all aspects of employment law.
Ms. Emanuelson is dedicated to providing zealous representation to meet each client’s individual legal needs. As an employment attorney, she litigates sexual harassment, FMLA, whistleblower, discrimination, retaliation, and wage theft matters. Throughout her career, she has assisted victims of age, disability, sex, and race discrimination. Ms. Emanuelson also represents individuals in unemployment matters.
Ms. Emanuelson received her Bachelor of Arts from Gettysburg College. She earned her J.D. from American University Washington College of Law. While in law school, Ms. Emanuelson interned with firms representing clients on special education, disability rights, and federal employment law matters. She also worked as a Note and Comment Editor on the Administrative Law Review. Ms. Emanuelson worked as a student attorney in the Washington College of Law Disability Rights Law Clinic, representing clients in disability rights matters and working on Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA) and Americans with Disabilites Act (ADA) issues in Washington, D.C. After law school, Ms. Emanuelson worked as a Civil Rights Litigation Fellow at a D.C. employment law firm. Before beginning at Smith Eibeler, Ms. Emanuelson clerked for the Honorable Craig Wellerson, presiding judge of the civil division in Ocean County, New Jersey.
